Walter EllisWalter Ellis | France

Walter Ellis has covered events in Europe for many years. Born in Belfast, he began his career on the Cork Examiner before moving, successively, to the Irish Times, Financial Times, Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Times. He has lived and worked in Dublin, Brussels, London, Bonn, Amsterdam, Jerusalem and New York. After 14 years in America, he now lives in rural France. The Beginning of the End, his acclaimed memoir of growing up in Belfast, was serialised in the Sunday Times. His novel, The Caravaggio Conspiracy, was a bestseller in Italy and Ireland.
