In an address to the House of Commons, the Foreign Secretary called for a “negotiated outcome” with the European Commission’s Vice President Maroš Šefčovič, but said that both parties “cannot afford to delay any further”.
She told MPs that legislation will be tabled in the “coming weeks” to make changes to the current trading arrangement between Britain and the EU that is “free of unnecessary bureaucracy”, whilst also respecting the Good Friday Agreement.
