Welcome to 2025: New American Colonialism Edition. Yes, this might be the year when the people of Greenland, Canada, Panama, and quite possibly Maidenhead, will finally get a chance to embrace their inner cowboy. Yeehaw!
To help orientate the free world after our festivities, Donald Trump gave a helpful press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, just twelve days out from the start of his second term in office. What was certain, however, was that this was the angriest we’d seen him this close to having the means to carry through his threats.
