By default or design, the Government has moved inexorably to close schools across the country. Yet, what risk assessment was made as to the loss of learning, mental health and safeguarding hazards to children not in school?

Last week, the RCoP Officer, Dr Karen Street, noted the huge fourfold rise in eating disorders amongst young children – partly due to school closures and social isolation.
