The recent military attacks by the US on Iranian targets, including assassination of Iran’s General Qasem Soleimani, apparently in a “decisive defensive action to protect US personnel abroad” and to deter “future Iranian attack plans,” has brought Iranian retaliatory missile attacks on 2 US-Iraqi military bases in Iraq. This was merely a “slap in the face” according to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

A simple question – asked at the right time and then acted on – could have averted the Grenfell catastrophe.
