Among Elon Musk’s many provocative posts on X – which he happens to own – was his tweet proclaiming that “DEI must DIE.” The Tesla boss went on to argue that: “The point was to end discrimination, not replace it with different discrimination.”
To make sure his millions of followers got the point, and to annoy his opponents even more, Musk tweeted again a day later that: “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” are propaganda words for racism, sexism and other -isms. This is just as morally wrong as any other racism and sexism. Changing the target class doesn’t make it right!”.
