Former Leader of the House of Lords and Minister in the MoD, Lord Salisbury is Chairman of the Constitution Reform Group, Chancellor of the University of Hertfordshire, President of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust and Chairman of the Lord Burghley 500 Foundation.

Iain Martin

CEO and Publisher

Iain Martin is a journalist, author, entrepreneur and director of the London Defence Conference, the annual geopolitical gathering held at King’s College London. He is director of Engelsberg Ideas for the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson foundation. His weekly column on politics is published by The Times and he is publisher and founder of Reaction. His two books on financial history are the award-winning “Making it Happen: Fred Goodwin, RBS and the men who blew up the British Economy” (Simon and Schuster, 2013) and “Crash, Bang, Wallop: the inside story of Big Bang and the financial revolution that changed the world” (Sceptre, 2016). He lives in London.

Maggie is executive editor of Reaction and writes a weekly column on business and economics for the site. She is also a columnist for the Daily Mail. She was business editor of the Independent on Sunday and a founding editor of the highly-successful Financial News, the specialist City newspaper and online site, now part of the Dow Jones group. She has held senior staff positions at the Guardian, the Times and the Daily Telegraph.

 

David Soskin

Board Member

David Soskin is the co-founder of a Venture Capital firm which invests globally in early stage digital businesses. David was CEO of Cheapflights (renamed Momondo). He was a finalist for E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year. His book “Net Profit” was an eCommerce bestseller. Previously, David held senior positions in banking and industry. He served in the Number 10 Policy Unit.

Viscount Ridley is a world renowned author and columnist for The Times. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and of the Academy of Medical Sciences, and a foreign honorary member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Lord Hill

Lord Hill is a former European Commissioner, Leader of the House of Lords and Political Secretary to Prime Minister John Major.

Nicole Gray Conchar

Nicole is the founder of Apple Fundraising Consultants – she is a leading figure in the field of international fundraising, event management and philanthropic advisory.

Adam Boulton

Adam Boulton currently contributes to Times Radio, Talk TV, Sky News, and Reaction. He is a founder member of both TVam and Sky News, for whom he was political editor and presenter over three decades. Boulton has interviewed every British Prime Minister back to Sir Alec Douglas-Home, and covered US politics since the Reagan era, conducting exclusive extended TV interviews with Barack Obama and George W Bush. He is author of two books, Tony’s Ten Years and Hung Together, a recipient of the Royal Television Society’s supreme Judge’s Award and a fellow of King’s College London.

Lord Bridges of Headley MBE

George Bridges is Senior Adviser to Ana Botin, Group Executive Chairman of Banco Santander. He was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU) until he resigned in June 2017, having been a Minister in the Cabinet Office since May 2015.

Sir Nigel Rudd, DL

Sir Nigel Rudd is Chairman of BBA Aviation plc, Meggitt PLC, Business Growth Fund and Sappi Limited. Previously, he was Chairman of Pilkington; Alliance Boots; Chairman of Pendragon; Chairman of Invensys; non-Executive Director and latterly Deputy Chairman of Barclays Bank and Barclays plc from 1996 until April 2009. He is a Deputy Lieutenant of Derbyshire and a former Chancellor of Loughborough University.

Matthew Elliott

Matthew Elliott is a veteran campaigner and policy entrepreneur, having been CEO of two successful referendum campaigns – NOtoAV in 2011 and Vote Leave in 2016.
