“Rejoice, rejoice,” is the orchestrated message being sent out by the Democratic party this week to acclaim President Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus package. The Washington Post headlined this gargantuan handout: “Biden stimulus showers money on Americans, sharply cutting poverty in defining move of presidency.” It is reminiscent of the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack Obama, just seven months into his presidency.
