Elon Musk’s Space X achieved a remarkable feat on Sunday, catching one of the world’s biggest rockets (known as a booster) with a tower, proving a concept previously thought impossible. It was one of those rare generational achievements, not simply for Space X, but for NASA, which has based much of its future success on the reusability of Musk’s Starship. It was, therefore, a significant moment for America, hoping to lead the space race deep into the twenty-first century.
